From Our Founders

Our expertise is in glasses, ceramics, and minerals, where new products succeed only when they are simple, repeatable, and compatible with existing infrastructure. That perspective shaped Minima from the beginning. Rather than designing carbon removal around new capture plants or complex processing chains, we asked whether sequestration could be built directly into materials already manufactured at massive scales.
Carbon mineralization is not new chemistry. What is new is applying it with discipline—prioritizing the simplest pathways that survive real-world constraints and produce materials with independent commercial value. Every technical decision at Minima is filtered through that lens.
We are building Minima deliberately. Not to demonstrate a concept, but to deliver a solution that architects and materials manufacturers can adopt, scale, and rely on. If carbon removal is to matter at climate scale, it must work where manufacturing actually happens.
